Itinerary

At 8 am you are picked up at your hotel and your Amazon Jungle Tour from Manaus begins, where you are transferred from the hotel to the Ceasa port. From the Ceasa port, the group will be taking a speedboat to navigate through the Rio negro and journey on the fast boat to the Meeting of the Waters, the point where the Rio Negro and the Solimoes River meet. Then you continue to the Careiro Village on the other side of the Solimoes River. From there continue by car or van for about an hour to the Parana do Mamori River. Continue by speedboat arriving at the jungle lodge base at about 11:30 am. Lunch is served at noon.

The group leaves by motorized boat at 02:30 pm to arrive in the jungle where they will spend their first night. They set up camp before cooking and eating dinner, after which everyone goes off into his or her own hammock with mosquito nets ready for bedtime!

The day starts early with a 5:30 am canoe trip to watch the sunrise and get a close-up view of the forest waking up to a new day. After breakfast at 07:00 am, it’s time for a jungle hike where your guide will explain medicinal plants as well as other interesting facts about nature around us. Sometimes there is a chance to spot some monkeys. After, it’s back to camp for lunch.

The afternoon activity starts at 3 pm. It’s time to go canoeing! We’ll explore the igarapes, and if we’re lucky enough then maybe you can spot some wildlife. After that we head to camp for dinner. We’ll go cayman spotting after. Your guide will catch one out of the water and you’ll get a chance to see one up close and learn more. It’ll then be carefully released back into its habitat and we’ll head back to camp for the night.

From 8:00 am to 11:00 am, the group will leave on of the top Manaus hiking tours in the jungle to explore more of the Amazon and also what can be used to survive here, like fruits, plants or other creatures that are found within it. Then we’ll return to camp to prepare lunch over an open fireside!

In the afternoon the group moves to another camping spot. After setting up, we go fishing to catch piranhas, as well as other species of fish. Then we head to camp to prepare them for dinner.

After breakfast, the group will leave by boat to navigate through the channel and small creeks (depending on water level). This is a great chance to spot some wildlife and maybe even som pink river dolphins. After an exciting ride, we’ll head to our next camp location and set up for the evening.

The group will spend the afternoon exploring a new area of jungle before night falls and then head back to camp. At night you will leave by boat with a flashlight, they’ll learn about how locals in this part use spears for fishing among the small creeks and lakes of the region. Then it’s back to camp for the night.

After breakfast, you’ll head to explore the Várzea Area of Amazon. During the months of September-March this trip is done on foot, and other times of the year it is done by boat. This region is a great place to spot some wildlife , such as birds, monkeys, and other animals that call the Amazon home. We then head back to camp for lunch and some relaxation before returning to Manaus. We will depart at 2:00 pm, arriving in Manaus around 04:30 pm.
