4 Day/3 Night Amazon Adventure With Stay At Boto Amazon Lodge


Located 100km south of Manaus on the shores of Juma Lake and surrounded by forest, Boto Lodge offers a quiet, peaceful environment for you to rest and relax between activities.

Separate cabins provide extra privacy. Equipped with a double-bed and two single beds, as well as air-conditioning, you can be sure of restful sleep. Additionally, there is an outdoor pool guests can use to cool off.

The Amazon rainforest is one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet, and a four-day trip is the perfect way to experience all it has to offer. Highlights of the trip include seeing the meeting of the waters, visiting a fish farm, and staying at a lodge in the jungle. You’ll also have the opportunity to go birdwatching, spot pink river dolphins, and enjoy the sunrise over the Amazon River. In addition, you’ll trek through the jungle with a local guide, learning about the plants and animals that call this place home. And of course, no trip to the Amazon would be complete without fishing for piranhas and swimming in the river, not at the same though! With so much to see and do, a four-day trip to the Amazon rainforest is sure to be an unforgettable experience.

The journey begins when we pick you up in Manaus. We head to Ceasa Port, where we board a speedboat, with a first stop along the Rio Negro river to the meeting of the waters, the black Rio Negro and brown Solimões never mix, giving this spot an otherworldly feel.Next, we will stop at the floating village of Catalão. Here you can visit a fish farm and see the Giant Arapaima Gigas, which are among Amazon’s most powerful creatures! 

We’ll stop at the Careiro village after that. From there, we will ride around for about an hour before heading to Maçarico Lake by speedboat; you’ll arrive at your destination around 11:30am and a delicious lunch is served at noon!


At 2:30pm we’ll head out on a canoe trip. You will have a chance to see the Amazon Pink River Dolphin and colorful birds! Afterward, enjoy watching as the sun sets over all, and finally return back to the lodge. At 8:30pm we’ll head out again in order to go find the elusive Cayman. Your jungle guide will scoop one up, allowing you to see it up close, before carefully releasing it into its natural habitat once again!

This morning we’ll take a motorized boat at 5:30am to watch the jungle waking up to a new day, you’ll no doubt be awestruck. Then we head back to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. Afterwards, our guide will take us on an informative morning trek through medicinal plants and insect life, explaining what they need in order to thrive – along with any possible wildlife sightings, including monkeys! Once the trek has been completed, it’s back to the lodge for lunch.

The afternoon activity starts at 3pm. We’ll leave by motorized boat along the river banks, fishing for several different species of piranha while enjoying a scenic view! During the trip, there are different species of birds and insects that can be spotted. Afterwards, we’ll return to the lodge for dinner.

Your early morning is spent exploring the Amazon! You’ll take a motorized boat at 5:30am to a serene spot where you will see the jungle waking up to a new sunrise. Back to the lodge for breakfast at 08:00 am, then to Várzea forest, an area flooded with many small channels and waterways. This trip will give you a unique perspective on this natural wonderland as we explore the flora & fauna found here. During the dry season when there’s no water from August- March, this trip will be done on foot. It is a great area for seeing animals like monkeys or sloths in their natural habitats. When we finish, it’s back to the lodge for lunch.


After lunch, at 3 pm,  the group will get a small regional boat where you will have the opportunity to experience paddling among the channel and the small igarapes. During this trip there is a good opportunity to spot some wildlife and enjoy the sound of nature. Then back to the lodge for Dinner. 

You’ll be up at 7am for breakfast, then it’s off to visit a local family who live by the river! You will see how they grow their own fruits and have fun tasting some of them too. On the way back to the lodge, you will have the opportunity to swim in the river, having fun the way the local Amazonian people do.


At 2:00 pm we begin our journey back to Manaus with an arrival scheduled for 4:30 pm at your hotel or airport.
