The journey begins when we pick you up in Manaus. We head to Ceasa Port, where we board a speedboat, with a first stop along the Rio Negro river to the Meeting of the Waters. The trip will then continue with a 1-hour car drive to Ubim Lake. From Ubim Lake, you’ll continue by speedboat on a 30-minute ride (depending on the level of the waters during the time of year of your visit) to Acajatuba lake to swim with river dolphins.

Upon arriving at the lodge at 12:30 pm, you will be welcomed with refreshments as your accommodations are prepared. Lunch is served at noon, and then there will be some time to relax and prepare things for the first day’s activities. At 3:30 pm, the group will depart by motorized canoe to fish for piranhas, watch colorful birds, and enjoy an incredible sunset from the middle of the river. After returning to the lodge, dinner will be served at 7:00 pm.

Breakfast is served at 7:00 am at the lodge. From 8:00 am to 11:30 am, we will be trekking through the jungle. Your guide will share knowledge about medicinal plants along our walk, as well as all of the insects and spiders that call it home. At noon, we’ll head back to the lodge for lunch. At 2:30 pm, the group will depart to visit the archipelago of Anavilhanas by boat. The group will explore the area looking for some wildlife found in that region (from February to August), and then continue this trip by walking in the jungle, as it is the dry season. On the way back to the lodge, there will be a stop to see the sunset. Afterward, the group will return to the lodge, where dinner will be served. After dinner, you depart again by motorized canoe in search of the elusive Cayman. Your jungle guide will scoop one up, allowing you to see it up close before carefully releasing it into its natural habitat once again!

From 5:30 am to 6:30 am, you’ll board a small canoe to witness the awakening of nature as the day breaks, and the silence is slowly broken by the songbirds and creatures that call this area home. After breakfast (8 am-11 am), the group will explore local streams by boat. Afterward, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the local community and learn more about their culture, living among the Negro River. During the visit, there is an opportunity to buy some handicrafts made by the locals with natural items from the Amazon jungle. Then you’ll proceed back to the lodge for lunch.

At 2:00 pm, we will begin our journey back to Manaus, with an estimated arrival time of 4:30 pm. Your tour will conclude at either your hotel or the airport.
